Project Brief
The project is aimed at improving the health and safety of students of Kigaragara Vocational Secondary School for improved academic performance. It basically addresses the water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH) needs of the school community. Additionally, the project is intended to reduce the costs and stress incurred in obtaining water from distant water sources hence allowing the administration and students to concentrate on academic affairs for better grades. Interventions include; construction of solar powered rainwater harvesting system, as well as boy’s and girl’s drainable latrines.
