Grant Contract Signing Ceremony for the Construction of a Water Tank & Latrine Blocks at Kigaragara Vocational Secondary School in Isingiro District
On Tuesday, February 20, 2024, ACORD Uganda signed a grassroots human security projects agreement with the Embassy of Japan in Uganda for the construction of a Water Tank and Latrine Blocks at Kigaragara Vocational Secondary School in Isingiro district.
The project is expected to reduce the number of student dropouts by creating a better environment, reducing the spread of diseases, promoting dignity, and boosting safety, particularly among students. The project will also promote school attendance, especially for girls’ school attendance boosted by the provision of separate sanitary facilities.
