Project Brief

The project works with farmer organisation, small holder farmers, private agri-business companies, agro-machinery companies and other stakeholders to   improve agricultural production by bolstering value chains and diversifying food production. It enhances production and business performance through four interrelated pillars that include enhancing access to agro-input services through linkages with both private and public service providers; commodity marketing through aggregation of supplies and enabling smallholder farmers to leverage the existing market opportunities; promoting digital and financial inclusion and access through VSLA, partnerships and access to grants and credit as well as business development services by enhancing access to market and improving their ability to compete within the existing markets.

Key Approaches

The AMS Project is made possible by the generous support of the World Food Programme and other partners
