Project Brief

The project targets vulnerable refugees and Ugandan host community members. The project aims to improve knowledge and practices around infant and young child feeding, hygiene promotion and sanitation. The project improves child nutrition, positive hygiene behavior, and access to sanitation facilities which translates into healthier future for the target vulnerable population.

Some of the key interventions being implemented include; training for mothers on positive dietary practices and breastfeeding knowledge; providing WASH (Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene) education; construction of latrines for people with special needs and providing schools with WASH supplies.
