ACORD Operation Areas and Target Groups in Uganda
ACORD-U operates in more than 48 districts across West Nile, Western/South western, Central, Eastern, and Northern Uganda as shown in the map below (brown and yellow color);
ACORD-U responds to challenges arising from Uganda’s economic, social, and political context, as well as situations in neighbouring countries like the insurgencies in DRC, Burundi, and South Sudan. ACORD-U places specific attention on people living in poverty and vulnerable groups, with a focus on women, orphans, vulnerable children, young people, persons living with HIV, persons with disabilities, and vulnerable women.
